I see Inslee

I don't know if it's because I want to be the girl in this illustration or because it is just so damn cute, but I want it.  I spyed this artist's work on FabSugar & became immediately intrigued.  If you need a few inexpensive (this is $20!), girly prints for your bed or bath please check her out here.

But, I totally get it.

She says, "why would that moron spend that kind of money on a bag?  Clearly she needs a therapist".  Get real, you know you want one.  The Birkin Bag is iconic.  It's an UES NY mom's claim to fame.  She rocks it with her lululemon stretchies and her Searle Puffer on her way back from soul cycle at 8am and she knows she looks good.  It's a downtown betty's only "traditional" piece, just because... duh, it's a birkin.  She sports her Daryl K leather leggings and a rockin Haute Hippe fur vest and she smiles because she knows she's killing it.

With a price tag ranging from $5,300- $50,000 it ain't happening for me.  So... Here's what I'm thinking the Mulberry Bayswater Bag, $950  (which I rationalize would be $5/day if I wear it 4x week...  So I forgo my daily, skinny caramel late.  Obvi, it's worth it).  I know it's been out for a while, but it's a new take on a classic and I can wear it for years.  Thoughts...

I'm obsessed with hue

I was green with envy watching the svelte ladies glide along the red carpet at the Golden Globes in their emerald creations.  Elizabeth Moss in Donna Karan, Catherine Zeta Jones in Monique Lhullier, Angelina Jolie in Versace, Mila Kunis in Vera Wang

It seems as if the color green, emerald especially, is everywhere. I started noticing it about a month ago when an assistant editor at Veranda asked me to pull together some green fabrics for an upcoming trend report.  Gorgeous

Claustrophobic Chic

As I have said before, our apartment is cute, but t-i-n-y. Our bathroom is no exception. We moved within a week of looking and did not have time to really think about what would compliment a white, door hit your toilet bathroom, with brownish grey tile floor (does anything?). I threw in some blue discount towels and a white home goods shower curtain and I was finito. I wasn't inspired and just wanted to shut the door and forget the room existed. Now that we've finally settled in, it's time for a re-do. Here are some super tiny, extremely chic bathroom's that made me realize there was hope for our little mess after all.
I will post a before & after next week.  In the meantime, hopefully these tiny, chic bathrooms will inspire you to re-vamp as well.
