WEDDING MONOGRAM OVERLOAD

So, as you can see I went a little monogram crazy at the wedding... the photographer actually missed a few of items if you can believe it.  I knew from the beginning of the planning that our new initials would be a big part of our reception.  I just love the cute, preppiness of it.  

From top to bottom, the robes were one of the gifts for my bridesmaids.  I love the idea of everyone having a personalized item to get ready in- it makes for adorable pictures.  Then, there were our church programs which we decided to tie with stripped ribbon- I loved the way they came out.  I thought I went a little overboard with the monogrammed pillows, but after looking at the pictures, I actually think I needed a few more of them.  Obviously, I had to mono the menu's which I thought were too small, but I'm sure no one noticed.  This is something I realized after the fact... don't stress too much about the little details because no one notices then anyway haha.  Lastly, were the stickers for the paper bags which were filled with donuts for our guests to grab with coffee on their way out.  Missing from photo's were cocktail & guest napkins, coffee cozies aaaand I think that's it.  Yes, nuts.

FOR MY GIRLS

I've done a few posts about gifts for my bridesmaids.  I want something special, that really tells them I've thought about their style, what they love and how much they each mean to me.  I love the idea of all of these items.  The jack rogers are adorable to throw on at the party.  They're comfy and easy to dance in.  I adore this robe as well.  It reminds me of one of our Manuel Canovas old school toile's and it would be so cute for pictures.  The monogrammed bag is completely adorable and can be customized for each bridesmaid... different color options, stripes, animals, tassels, anything.  Last but not least those earings.  Die.  Most gorgeous color.  They're actually more perfect for my sister's wedding, but either way...

WEDDING FAV'S - MY MAIDS

I adore this photo.  All the girls having a blast getting ready and drinking champs.  I was going to go the traditional monogrammed robe route for my bridesmaids, but I think this is soo much cuter.  Who doesn't love a good white, crisp, popped collar... add over sized and a monogram and it's just about perfect.  I hope my ladies are smiling this wide next year... Wedding Favorites- The Monogram

Alex thinks I'm NUTS with my monogram obsession.  If I could monogram my underwear (actually that's a cute idea) for the day of the wedding I would.  I think it's so adorable to proudly display your new initials at the reception.  Here are a few idea's of how to do so (obviously choose one or two, not all).  They are all such fab idea's... Wedding Favorites- Bridesmaids Blush

I would like a few things in my bridesmaid's dresses.  I love blush pink, they must be flowy and I'm thinking long.  I want my girls to look hot and be comfortable enough to dance and party with me.  Also, I like the romantic vibe of a long dress.  I think it goes with the vineyard, relaxing vibe we're going for.  We haven't found the dresses yet, but I'm loving Amsale.  Will keep you posted.  Have a lovely weekend!

Weekend Recap- Our Party!

Our party was a blast.  A ridiculous good time that we were so lucky to have had.  My sister & mother did such an amazing job putting it together.  Barbara's house looked incredible- thank you, again, so much for hosting!  You guys are the greatest.  Anyway, as I said, the party was a blast.  These pictures don't do it justice, but enjoy... I am so lucky to be marrying Alex and the party made me so beyond excited for the wedding!!! 

Let the celebration's begin...

I'm beyond excited for tonight.  It's the first of many parties to celebrate Alex & I tieing the knot.  My mother, her best friend and my sister are throwing us that engagement party that I've been talking about for months.  I'm sad that one of my besties can't be there {sigh}, but I am still ready to pop the champagne, dance and reminisce.  Thank you so very much for doing this for us.  It means the world to the both of us!!  Love you guys!

Friday's Wedding Favorites

There are a plethora of dresses out there, but I've made my decision (with a few custom details of course).  The final swatches are in... once I choose the color and fabric it is off to be made.  I'm so excited to see the real thing!  Eeeeeeek I'm giddy with happiness and I cannot wait to share the pictures with you after the wedding!!!  Have a wonderful weekend, girls!

Wedding Favorites- The Venue

In looking at my past wedding posts, I don't think I ever shared where Alex & I will be getting married!  My sister (an event planner) suggested Wolffer Estate in Sagaponack.  With it's rustic, romantic charm it reminded us of Tuscany and we immediately fell in love.   I hope our guests love it as much as we do!
